- Prepare the deck by clearing any debris.
- Peel back the grip tape sheet and hold the adhesive side above the board.
- Start from the center of the board and apply the grip tape, working outward.
- Use the backing sheet to push out any creases or bubbles to the edge of the deck.
- Once air bubbles are gone, trim off the excess grip tape.
- Use a file or metal tool to file down the edges of the grip tape.
- Peel up the edges for easier cutting.
- Cut the excess grip tape from the side, away from yourself.
- Use the excess grip tape to sand down the edges of the grip for a better hold.
